Baxter Company Limited

With over a 30-year long relationship with Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Arabian Health Care (AHC), had been importing, marketing and distributing a vast array of Baxter products into Saudi Arabia. As the need for local production became more evident for logistical and strategic purposes, the decision was made to establish a joint venture in the name of Baxter Company Limited (BCL) in the fall of 2009.

The new company marked the opening of Baxter’s 58th factory worldwide and the first facility in the Middle East. BCL manufactures intravenous medical solutions and peritoneal dialysis solutions for renal patients and can serve its customers in Saudi Arabia, and multiple countries in the region.
